A watermark that can be photocopied isn't a watermark.
Anything printed on the surface can be scanned, reprinted, forged. Ours goes in before the sheet exists — a dandy-roll watermark is a change in fibre density, not a layer of ink. Around it: invisible UV fibres, chemically reactive sizing, and an optional holostrip window.
UV fibres & planchettes
Invisible under normal light — blue, green and red fibres dosed at the headbox. Planchettes to 1.5 mm, single or bi-fluorescent.
Chemically reactive sizing
Stains permanently on contact with bleach, acetone, hypochlorite and common ink-lifting solvents. An altered document announces itself.
Holostrip & embedded thread
2–4 mm hot-stamp or laminated strip, registered to the watermark window. Optional forensic taggant on request.
