Infinity Security Papers Limited begins production on a single-wire Fourdrinier outside Hyderabad, making bond and label grades.
First dandy-roll watermark rolls cut in-house. UV fibre dosing and reactive sizing added at the headbox.
Sales and stocking desks established to serve western and eastern India directly, rather than through agents.
Infidura (water resistant) and Infituff (tear resistant) move from trial to regular production.
Gulf enquiries taken locally — FOB and CIF quoting, export documentation handled in-house.
East African distribution opens, with containerised dispatch from Chennai and Mundra.
Copier paper line introduced to put mill capacity to work between security runs — 70, 75 and 80 gsm, A4 to A3.
Out of Hyderabad, into three countries.
Mumbai and Kolkata carry India. Dubai serves the Gulf. Nairobi serves East Africa.
